Found this tonight: Its free.

You can create your own VST / Audio Unit effects (maybe instruments too?) from scratch. Looks really ing nerdy... I like it!
Anyone on here ever noodle? or better yet load it and make some VSTs for us to mess around with?

I think this is WAY more of an 'under the hood' at building plug-ins.
Then (if inclined) can give them a sexier skin.
