screwing with people's heads on the elevator

So I was on the elevator this morning and this guy gets on with his morning cup of Starbucks. Of course, SB's always writes your name on the cup. So I can see his name as he gets on and I say "hey Chris, what's up man". Befuddled and a little confused, he politely replies "Hey, how's it going". He has no idea what's going on or how I know his name. So I carry on a conversation on the ride up, asking him how things are going and what's going this week. He keeps the conversation going. As I get off on my floor, I say "Let's do lunch again soon. You still have my number, right?". He says "uh, yeah. I'll call you". The look on his face while all of this is going on was priceless.

| What's going to be great is the next few times we run into each other. I can't decide if I am going to keep up the charade or just ignore him next time. |

if he tries to talk to you next time ask him "do i know you?"
and then recognize him the time after that. continue this pattern. maybe he will think you have a twin |
