I was listening A.S.O.T. 341 yesterday, yes I'm a few weeks behind, when I noticed this one :) :) :)
Hensha - The Curtain (Underwater's Blue Remix)
I think one track like this each week makes it worth listening A.S.O.T.
Who agrees or doesn't and what do you think of this one?
leph555
boring
nothing special
just like all of the tracks which are being released now...

Sounds like everything else on ASOT, in my opinion.

Interesting. I wonder why this track then took my attention while listening the 341 session. Something needs to be different than the other tracks, because I really don't like everything played at ASOT. I guess about 20% of the tracks I really like. The rest is average.
Could it be that in general some ASOT lovers like certain instruments, rhythms, melodies more than other Trance lovers? Is it like in this track the synths and melody?
By the way, probably the difference is more clear when you hear it after some other tracks than listening just this one track. I even might feel the same about it at first sight (ehhh listen...)
I always wonder what causes that there is a group that likes the sort of trance which is played at ASOT and a group that doesn't. I think it's obvisous that at this forum there is a large number of people that doesn't.
I know that many grow up with ASOT like trance, so that's one explanation, but since I'm not one of those, I'm 33 and started listing to trance around 1994, I'm curious what causes this.

but thats until i started listening to house

It's very subjective what people like. Who knows what associations that track triggered in your head...
Like when you are madly in love, even the cheesiest love ballads will speak wisdom to you because you can relate to the message.

Listening to a 2 hour show to find one track is not my idea of a productive use of time. In fact, it's a massive waste of my time.
And that track is .

so true. if you can't look around here for two hours (while listening to music you know you like) and find at least 3-4 new to you songs that you like i would be surprised.

Boring, just like most of Jon O Bir's material, whose label signed this one.

It's no waste of time. At home I don't listen for 2 hours, (certainly not with a 2 year old daughter) then I just need like 10 minutes to find the tracks I like. I do listen ASOT wenn driving to and from my work. In general I like ASOT, but I think tracks which I really like are tracks which I would like to buy.
When I heard this one in my car I played it several times. Maybe it just sounds great in my car....
About 10 years ago, when I was buying lots of compilations in most cases about 60% of the tracks I did like and the others were rubbish. So mayby I'm just picky on selecting tracks.
O by the way, you meant: "And I think that track is ."
