I passed the entrance exam for Glendon's Translation programme and will be moving to T.O. at the end of the summer!!!!!
Some of you know how nervous I have been about this, as the school "prides itself" ( snobs! :tongue2 lol ) on accepting a limited amount of students per year based on 3247802938 different criteria.
They take 25 francophone and 25 anglophone students per year into this programme - this includes internal, external and international applicants... me = :nervous:
I wrote the "prestigiously competitive" entrance exam on March 1st and have been waiting and waiting and WAITING for the results... and I got the call today! GAHHH I like did jumping jacks in the library at Mac!
WOOT WOOT WOOT EFFIN WOOT!!!
Not only is this field a passion of mine but have I been wanting to pursue this for the past 5 years and very few universities in Canada have such an in-depth translation programme.
I also can't wait to move out of here (nothin but love for the Hammerbomb <3 but after 16 years I NEED a change of habitat)
