MOOG FOR LIFE
Alex
We aren't all TV stars

I bought my 2 CDjs and mixer at Moog and it was a bit pricey but worth it. For headphones though I would stay far away from any store in Montreal.

Louis you get good deals because they know and like you there! If someone they never seen before goes in there to buy something it wont be the same!

Why would MOOG suck at headphone selling? I bought mine there and tried on a bunch before deciding.

First time I bought a mixer at MOOG I showed the guy an invoice for a U.S authorized dealer who was selling the mixer for less even after duty/shipping was factored in. The dude dropped the price and I saved about 250 dollars.

Try to bargain with them if you're buying a lot of . 2 CDJs and a mixer! I'm sure you could've got something off.

Thats actually not true..

The prices i gave you are store prices... not friend prices

Some headphones are cheeper at moog... some of em are cheeper on your sites

It all depends on what youre looking for

But for me

Theres nothing like talking to the guy and checking out new gear at the same time

Always gives you ideas

Better feeling than discussing on the phone
julien2
Yes I agree with you Louis. There's nothing like feeling and touching the gear.

But wouldn't you agree that it's way cheaper to shop physically, and then to buy the stuff you like virtually ?

Lol ................ NOT

I agree its nice to have that human touch to the whole shopping thing, especially when you're not sure what you wanna pick... but honestly Louis, just googling the headphones you can find 10 to 15 reviews, comparisons, and just about anything you want to know about them

you're right about the shipping costs + hassle if something goes wrong though, i've been screwed many times on like that

as much as i like touching the gear first (i had tried before buying anyway) i got my mixer for 450$ less than moogs price and that was including shipping. Plus i didnt have to see Lafleche.

win win imo.
