This summer I am kicking off a new show for AMP on Frisky radio, on which I plan on doing my best to showcase talent from throughout the Midwest, as well as other amateur talent. It's pretty important to me to do my best and give back to the communities that have provided me with so much good music and opportunities these last few years.
As a bit of a preview for the show, I'm doing an hour mix that will air on Frisky over the next two months, and really would like to kick it off with an emphasis on the "new guys."
In that sense, if any of you all have material you think would fit well for me - I would appreciate you sending it along. I want to make it clear that, as this is a radio show, I am not so much concerned with sticking to one genre or style - so please, anything you all have that you would like to share, from MNML to epic trance, don't be afraid to send it along. Obviously there's no guarantee I'll use it, but it's really the diversity of sounds coming out of Chicago, Detroit, and Minneapolis right now that has inspired me to take on this project, and so I'd like to reflect that in my efforts as much as I can.
The tracklists will, of course, contain plenty of non-amateur or non-Midwest tunes as well - but if I can get a few in there each time I'll be happy.

Them too. ;)
And I'm fairly sure one of the BS as Deep tunes from AL, and Ben's "Nova" will be making initial appearances, so big ups to Ben and Sen. |

Yes, yes. But just like a serious drug collection, once you get locked in, the tendency is to take it all the way.

Episode 000 (promotional episode) will contain new tunes (both released and upcoming) from The Hamptons, Ben Brown, BS as Deep, Tom Delaubenfels, and Avana + myself.
Big ups to the TA crowd. You've all got mad skills. |
