Kazell started things off nicely, had a good energy building but then slowed it down too much imo and was boring me towards the end of his set. For the most part I enjoyed his set though. Groovy stuff.
Sasha came on at roughly 10:40 and played for about 40 minutes and then Digweed came on for 40 then they were doing more of a tag team after that. Really good sets from both of them. I saw Josh Wink was hanging out on stage for a awhile. The lighting they had setup was really cool. They had to have had the artist that has been doing the emFire artwork design the graphics. Very minimal and colorful, fresh visuals throughout the night. They stopped playing a bit before 2:00 for everyone to wish Diggers a happy birthday.
I can't say I enjoyed myself too much just because the crowd was awful. From the chick who looked like Chun-Li from Street Fighter with her stupid hair throwing things at Sasha, to the guy who I couldn't seem to get away from that was consistently screaming out for Sasha to kill the music so he could propose to his girlfriend who, consistently was telling him she didn't want to (both drunk). Sometimes the music just can't save the evening.
Hoping to have a better time tonight at Webster Hall!

Opening...
I had the 2nd part of Sasha's opening uploaded, but youtube said it was taken down due to a terms of use violation. It was 14 minutes long so I'll have to cut it up on my laptop later...

Yea was kinda Bored after a while, agree with light system, very sweet it was and was suprised to see a fairly full house. Just some crazy people in the crowd, nothing beats the NYC people......

How could I forget...
At one point a couple of girls snuck their way up onto the stage and went to come up behind the booth and Diggers quickly shoved them out. I almost had it on video too :(.

It was a nice mix of melodic proggy stuff and some techno. (Hope that suffices? haha)
There wasn't much that I could ID last night outside of Mark Mendes - Beneath You. There were a few other tracks I recognized but I couldn't think of their names.

Awesome night! Great music! NYC is in for it tonight. :D

Had a good time last night but I would have to agree w Ed I did get bored at some points. It was nice seeing familiar faces :stongue:
The thought of RockStar & Vodka ...and Jack & Diet (Thanks Moo) Makes me feel sick today!
Good time overall.... lets just see if I have any energy for tonight.
Finding a cab in the rain at the end of the night was NOT fun. But we finally got home and I was told by my roomie that I was trance dancin in the living room till 3:30. HAHA :stongue:

The crowd definitely wasn't "awful". Great turnout, great people, great music, great night.
Sorry you didn't like two or three people out of the hundreds, don't be over the top with it.

Well there were more people that I couldn't seem to get away from, those were just my two favorites of the evening :D It only takes a few out of a few hundreds to wreck the mood.
