So I just got this card today and I went to install but my machine doesn't recognize that a driver has been installed for the card.
I run the installation CD and it says it installs correctly, but not before Windows tells me that it has not certified this device. I continue to install and when it finishes I restart my computer.
When it comes back to my desktop, my computer tells me that the hardware may not be installed correctly. When I got to my device manager, I see the yellow exclamation point of my sound device.
On the MINIMUM system requirements for the card it lists:
Windows 98SE/ME/2000(SP4)/XP(SP1)
Now I am running XP Home edition Service Pack 2. Could this be my problem? And if it is, is there anyway around this?
Thanks in advance! |

Now I should mention, when I plug my rca's from my mixer to my rca's on the card. I get no sound transfering in at all.
Now, just to make sure I am doing it correctly. I'm running the RCA cable from my REC output on my mixer to the RCA input on the card.
Again, thanks in advance. |

Good news. I got the card installed correctly and the M-Audio Delta Control power is now reading the sound that comes into my machine from my mixer,
BUT
When I use Soundforge and/orAudicity it gets no sound in when I record. What could be the problem ? |

True, but I'm still having one problem. On the Delta audio control panel I can see the sound levels moving but when I use a program to record like audicity or soundforge. I don't have ANY sound coming in.
What could the problem be ? |

Okay, this took care of it! Thanks so much. And now when I record there are no gaps OR stutters!
