they both had a contest "fattest and most useless blip blop producer in the scene". i think deadmau5 lost. so he is mad and jealous.

Two of Deadmau5's best productions in 2007

Originally known under the alias "Deadrat6", Marcus Schossow released this:

After that Deadmau5 posted Mr Black on his myspace player etc

Wow, and I had thought this little squabble had been put to rest months ago.

Pretty lame, not just Deadmau5's apparent refusal to play, but how the venue booted Schossow because of it. I guess they felt Deadmau5 was the better investment of the two, seeing as he was the headliner of the night.

Maybe Deadmau5 has a different spin on things that we'll soon see, but this little playground tussle crosses the line when it begins interfering with matters on a professional level.

ahhhh of course!

i forgot Marcus Schossow was deadrat6 :stongue:

cheers for the reminder ;)

Hehe, np ;) I totally agree Paradox Lost.

Ofcourse that Marcus didn't play wasn't bad for business, also because it wasn't announced.
But the place was packed and most people there probably hadn't even heard of the DJs.

I guess the best thing Under The Sun could do was make the best of out it, which they did. They're a big name in Norway now anyway.

I thought these "deadrat" tracks, myspace profiles, etc, were just a joke. If there's actually some serious beef between them based on it, that's really lame.

Not like I care or anything.

There must be more of a backstory. It seems very petty otherwise.

Way to go on taking the internets too seriously.

Why don't you atleast get to know the guy first before doing some /Prima donna type of non sense?

what next.. only green M&M's backstage?

Nothing beats the infamous "Morillo vs Kleinenberg" story here!

Morillo was booked to play a certain club in Melbourne. Sander K happened to be in town too, for a different gig.

Sander arrives at said club in his travels, asks if he can spin, FREE OF CHARGE. Of course, the club agrees, and Sander jumps on the decks.

Half an hour in, Morillo arrives for his set, which is not for another few hours (i.e Sander wasn't stealing any of his booth time).

Morillo throws a hissy fit, saying he won't play unless Sander s off.

Club throws Sander out and Morillo gets to play.

(If I was the manager, I would have thrown Morillo out, handed his enormous appearance fee back to the owner, got Kleinenberg to fill his spot, and congratulated myself for getting a big international jock to play for free)
