dood... get over it. i made a desicison, i could give a less if you thought if it was the right one or the wrong one... i felt it was the right one... which was only to say "i really dont feel like playing with deadrat6" and ill in stand by that any day of the year.
what is it you want me to do now? write an apology letter to shossow? fat chance. feel bad for people who came to see him? okay.. fair play m8. i am hereby sorry to all one of you who came to see shossow. Nah, some people who were friends of the promoters said they had no idea... Granted, unless you're tuned into ASOT or on the boards a lot, not everyone would know the Deadrat6/Deadmau5 thing... So I can see that happening... Simply put, both Deadmau5 and Marcus (who's from neighboring country Sweden) are known and both in the young upcoming stars bracket, so on paper, it would seem like an amazing night of music. |
the promoters should have just called his bluff. If he signed a contract to play, the fact that Marcus was on the night should have been irrelevant, at least legally.
I can totally see why Deadmau5 wouldn't want to play with him...I don't blame him for not wanting to play on the same night. The promoter should have just stuck to his guns though and not given in to him. |

Did you read Marcus statement?
If DM5 really cared he wouldn't have messaged him with "are you closing for me in Norway" and his management obviously saw the Flyer.. I can assure you they had more then a few days to cancel him instead of making it "a big deal" the night of the show.
Giving an ultimatum after all this time has passed is a bit ridiculous.
Judge Jules was the one that said it.. Forum members make up 90% of the noise but 10% of the crowd. Just because we know there's beef doesn't mean the poor promoter knew about it.
DM5 needs to do what he was paid to do.. Unless it clearly says it in his contracts that he can not be booked along with Marcus then he should just stop his whiny prima donna bichfests.
It's just a simple joke and everyone knew it was a joke. I posted my example of previous jokes done by member of this forum. He clearly wasn't the first to be mocked and sure as hell won't be the last. |

But he won a Juno!
Seriously though, that's typical tota behaviour, and God help you if you have a different opinion. |

deadmau5 is a gimp for serving up ultimatums (not to mention the unprofessionalism), but m.s is an oaf who got called on his flapping by someone as immature as him.
if either of them had acted like adults, this would've been avoided.
mau5 should've just dropped an anthem- and hit-filled set and let m.s. try to follow it, but he's apparently not as clever as he think5 he is. |

Someone even mentioned "the shady promoter from NYC" incident in the TOTA again... haha... I'm famous!
