Ain't got no ice here. Can the Australian team use broken VB bottles on their feet instead (possibly their gloves too?)

well hockey players tend to be missing a lot of teeth, so i am perplexed why Australia have not put a dominating team together.

my heart wants a calgary vs washington final
my head says more likely to have the final 4 as
San Jose & Detroit in the west
Pittsburgh & Montreal in the east
ps. Dion Phaneuf wrecks kids. |

ok picking calgary isn't really fair because i only like curtis joseph, and i'm pretty sure they're not going to win.
so i really like san jose, and i also like washington, and montreal.
and i hope pittsburgs bus crashes and sydney crosby has a career ending injury.:eyes: |

Washington has all the momentum right now, though their playoff inexperience may cause them some trouble against teams like Montreal, New Jersey, and even Pittsburgh. Would still like to see them go all the way though, with a Penguin/Capitals match-up along the way.
The West? Detroit'll choke as always, San Jose'll choke as always, Turco still won't get out of the first round... For some reason, I feel Anaheim and Colorado have the best shot at it. |

I just get the feeling that something will change this time around in the west. Mentally some of those that have choked before will have a lot to do, but for detroit especially, with some of their players they surely won't get more chances to do it. I was shocked Vancouver dropped out personally, but don't think colorado will go far, even with forsberg et al
Washington is a great story, they've had a great season after the change of coach and Ovechkin, Backstrom, Federov, Semin, Huet, Ollie the goalie & cooke give them players capable of beating anyone. Perhaps on current form too they may go into it fearless. that may obviously go against them but on current form they have to have a chance. |

Perhaps. Hell, for all we know, Nashville could be this year's Cinderella Team. ;) |
