Review from a friend of mine on another forum:
That was hands down the best party I've been to at Glow, and for a variety of reasons. It was the best both musically and in terms of the quality of the crowd. In fact, I've never seen such a good crowd at Glow either. People were really good natured and musically open minded. Even when Cavo was completely hammered and he saw some dude with bleached blonde hair and thought it was wig so he proceeded to grab the guy's hair and giggle while telling him how awesome the "wig" was, no one got upset. EVEN when Ryan from Bullit kept hitting on Cavo's fiance, emotions didn't flare, hahahaha.
Kazell's opening set was brilliant. The volume was also pretty low but it was setting the mood just right. It was like a steam boat starting a trip up the river...starting off slowly but picking up the momentum before settling into a smooth, steady groove.
Sasha came on afterward and kept the momentum about the same for about 15 minutes, weaving some Mongoose remix in and out. After that things just took off. Digweed came on and honestly, he was ridiculous. The transitions were perfect and seamless and the energy in that room was like a volcano getting ready to erupt.
Sasha came back on and he played some of the most mental tracks I've heard in my life. There was one track especially that just had this siren like sound that just kept intensifying and building astronomically. It was like a ing star exploding. The buildups throughout the entire night were just mental. They weren't the epic trance buildups that Smoakenfold would create back in the day. The buildups were all about pulsing beats and energy that just kept swirling in intensifying loops. It was really the best set I've heard by them, from any of the times I've seen them before and anything I've downloaded by them online.
Again, I want to stress how incredible that crowd was. No kiddies last night jumping around because they're in a club for the first time and they hear a thumping beat ladened with some chic singing about clouds and castles and prancing leprechauns. This was a serious crowd that either new their outright, or were people hearing John and Sasha together for the first time in their life and completely open minded about it. The crowd last night was definitely different from other nights and I wish it was like that all the time. Last night's crowd actually really reminded me of the crowd that showed up for Above and Beyond last year when Glow was at Fur. They were ready for everything that got thown at them. Also, it was pretty easy to move around last night even though it was definitely really full in there.
The only thing that I thought was stupid about last night, and this has nothing to do with Glow, was that the tables prices got jacked up as high as they did. Way to go Ibiza management: scare away potential table customers and make less money, as opposed to maybe raising the price just a little and selling more tables. The same exact thing happened at Tiesto outdoors. The tables were 3000 dollars and maybe four got sold, two by Masoud A, who is loaded. They should have sold tables for 1000 and sold all of them. Oh well, what can you do?
Again, last night was hands down the best night I've ever had at Glow, and I think a lot of people will feel the same way.
Great seeing everyone I ran into last night as well.

This was my first time at a Glow event and an event at Ibiza.
Personally I don't care for Ibiza's setup. It seemed very poorly laid out (although I did like the main room), and I will probably stick to Buzz events now that Sasha & Digweed have left.

Awesome track in the second to last video. Such an SnD tune! Sounded like you guys got a better show. Everyone likes playing glow. It is a great venue.
