Yeah, my card worked just fine elsewhere today. It's simply a matter of e-mailing Beatport. I've gone and submitted the issue to their support team, lets see what comes of it.

Just an FYI, I got this response this morning...

Hi Jacob,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the credit card is declining your transaction.
I recommend contacting your financial institution for more information. To avoid further security holds please
ensure that all your information is intact. If you are based in the U.S. some banks will block charges originating from overseas.
We are located in Denver, CO but our merchant is in the UK

Let me know if you need anything else.
Thank you for your support!

I called Wamu just now, and was told what Dave was told. "Sir, we see no problem on the card, and no attempted charges from a 'Beatport.' From what I can see, the last time the card was used was on Friday."

Bull. I used my card MULTIPLE TIMES throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Had the same issues all weekend. Sucked. When I get paid thursday and deposit my check I'll tell the bank.

i've just noticed that if you pay with paypal, they don't charge you a foreign transaction fee. so this may be an advantage.

I don't know what bank you guys have but I've never been charged a foreign transaction fee :wtf:

I've used PayPal before, but usually I just use my debit card (Wells Fargo). Never once have I been charged a foreign transaction fee. Is it actually a separate charge or is the Beatport charge larger than it should be? That's so weird :wtf:

rizo
is there any way to buy certain tracks from your cart besides deleting the ones you dont want to buy at the moment? i dont really have $75+ to buy all tracks in my cart at the moment :(

if i use my card i get charged a foreign transaction fee, which is about 1% of the total purchase, and shows up as a separate fee on my statement. but apparently with paypal i didn't get charged any extra fees. probably cuz i have wamu. :whip:
