What girl doesnt like flowers?:haha:
That wasn't our point.
A mix of roses and carnations with babies breathe is nice. |

8 hours?
bit of water at the stems should keep them doing ok for that period of time, cut the stems diagonally if you're cutting them yourself. i mean i suppose it depends, are you leaving a bouquet on a table, or going to leave them in a vase? |

In a vase. Unless I put them in the fridge, naturally... It would be lulzy if she opened her fridge and saw a buquet of roses in there :D

do it!
and have a little card attached that just says 'surprise!'
holy hell that'd be kinda awesome
but a vase should keep them fine for 8 hours i'd say
fake edit: after re-reading the OP they'll definitely be fresh if you cut them halfway between when you buy them and when you she gets home, cut a bit off, and make sure to cut diagonally. lots of bacteria gets in the bottom of the stem where the flower draws its water and blocking that works just like a straw, it cuts off its nutrition. easy to find stuff on how to cut/prepare flowers on google too
should be a big deal |
