| I have 2 CDJ200's and a DXM06 arriving from the US soon. As of now, I have two different US to Belgium power transformers, one listed at 75 Watts and the other at 300 Watts. Is is safe to run these decks and mixer through these transformers (I would use a splitter on the 300 W for two inuputs)? What is the optimal way to arrange it? 2 cdj's on the 300 and mixer on the 75? Or something else? Thanks in advance for the feedback. |

You've really got nothing to worry about - CDJ200s only take 11W each and the DXM06 is still under 15W, so you could actually easily run them all off the 75W transformer if you needed to!
In fact it might be an idea to do that anyway - transformers aren't very efficient so it's likely it'd be a bit lighter on your electricity bill if you ran the whole lot off the 75W one rather than using both, but it could vary massively depending on how efficient each transformer is. |
