i'd love to know what trance parties you base those findings on.. actually scratch that, i can't say i particularly would. not least because i'm inclined to believe they were pretty much made up on the spot ;)
most women i've met/witnessed in trance clubs have been, on the whole, relatively normal. the music is far too basic to attract the nerdy type and the 'candy sluts' have all moved onto hard dance, leaving a relatively uncomplicated & genial medium. most of them only tend to be there because their boyfriends are but the point still stands.. if they look worse on the whole it's only because they're more likely to be gurning their off on mdma :stongue: |

| EDM events down here are, unfortunately, sausage fests. (unless you go more mainstream like Tiesto, Bob Sinclar, etc.) |

| girls like vocal trance and only if u switch between that and some rnb , and then some rock/pop. once u start diving into one genre and things get interested the girls falls of and start complaining. their just not smart enough lol, just kidding |

Couldn't you say the same thing about many genres of EDM? Techno, minimal, prog... all seem to fit this stereotype as well as trance.
At the trance parties I go to in NYC, it was usually a big mix of white, hispanic, middle eastern, and asian people... with like one or two black people in there. But I definitely fit the "nerdy adolescent white upper middle class" demographic myself. |

go to see monolake or carl craig or efdemin or jimpster or vladislav delay or slam or alex smoke or henrik schwarz etc and i guarantee you not only will the women be more to look at, but they will be even more to talk to, and i would also bet they would be better dancers
but you might not get laid as easily

I disagree. Let's put trance aside, this goes for all music genres.
You can't judge tastes by gender. It's a matter of an individual, you're generalising. |

I am referring more to the melodic/uplifting forms of it--the underground versions of trance. |
Retarded thread man, please make a different one. |

I was just asking out of curiosity. If you don't like it, don't post here ;-) |
