When you have a cuefile you can use CDRWIN (that's what I always use). When you don't have a cuefile but you want to cut one huge mp3 into smaller pieces you can use CoolEdit.

When you have a large mp3, decode it to wave, use CDRWIN, load the track, load the cuefile and burn it. On your cd then there are seperated tracks, but no pauses.

To cut up 1 file in more I use audio-editing software like Soundforge 5.

There are alot softwares which you can slice Big MP3s to small peices with or without CUE files.

Best one is "MP3 Track Maker 1.40" it's $10 or $15 but shareware version gives you the idea, already no crack could be find. this little softy has an option called "GRAB WINAMP POSITION" that makes manual splitting (with out cue) so fukking handy.

There is a free one which name is "MP3 Direct Cut" its a bit buggy but it do the job very good.

both softwares above, work with and with out cue files. and the good point is that none of them make any intermediate wave file or somthing like this.

you can download them from http://www.download.com

"MP3cutter 2.0" is also available I download it from Tranceaddict site but haven't test it yet maybe never...

coole eidt is very cool software, but it's not good and handy for file splitting

Exact audio copy has an option where you could cut wav files with cue sheet. This is the one I use if wanting to cut, but if you want to burn, don't cut it!

first of all, your cue file finds your mp3 file on your computer. Obviously it can't find it because line 2 holds the location. Right click on the cue file and then select open and then select notepad. On line 2, copy past your location of your mp3 file for example ...c:\windows\desktop\music.mp3 save the file and then try it again. I suggest converting the file to wav first for a secure burn.
