:D applause to winchester council and police, as i just read on some site that the council & police of winchester stated that no licence will be granted to hold homelands IF SO SOLID CREW are remaining on line-up, resulting in the only plausible, right and fair decision of so solid crew will not be playing at homelands.boyakashaa badboy f@@k off back to brixton

or they all get secretly attracted to an abandonded where soem mystery person is gonna sell them sum guns but the mystery person has infact doused the warehouse in petrol and sets it on fire burning them all alive!

just a thought... ;)

hahahahahaha wicked, they can keep in Brixton as far as I'm cocerned, Garage music shouldn't mingle with other electronic music at events, theres just too much trouble in that scene.
evil_bastard
There isn't any trouble, they just like to think there is.

They stand around in Fubu jackets and shades, and when the police come they get dissapointed when they drive on without suspicion :D

although i disagree with the whole principal of garage music's existance, last years SSS had a garage arena, it was tucked away in a corner away from all the good stuff and i never once saw any homeboys etc...

but so solid crew do suck profusely so good move on the council's part..

hahaha Garage is wank, I just can't believe why people listen to the trash, I used work with a complete grade A knobhead, who came from some middle class family, and spoke in a Jamican accent, it was like speaking to a white rasta with out dreadlocks, really odd the bloke knew nothing about music, and was the biggest bullter I think probably more then a paticular person on this site ;) that I've met in my entire life.

I know what you mean Jeff, they did keep out the way and kept low profile, I saw a couple of them towards the end leering away.

The thing about the scene I would say is its very Urban loads of people from areas that hate each other meeting up at events, I remember Sundissential once put up a message on their site, that a shooting that occured near there, was nothing to deal with them, but it was to deal with the Garage club down the road.

evil mate if you don't think theres any trouble go to a Garage event in South London and come back and say that :), even though I know you wouldn't set foot in one like any other person on here ;). I know what you mean by the way they pose, the biggest thing that makes me laugh is the way everyone tries and looks like their the daddy in Gucci suits, and diamonds, sipping away at glasses of Champagne.

O'Calaghan, I've stayed in South East London many times, it's probably the centre of garage culture in London, probably to do with the huge black population.

There is trouble in the scene, of course, but I'd say 99% of them are just poser rude bwoys with expensive gold chains and a fragile ego. I think it can be quite funny to watch them actually. On NYE we went into the garage arena and just pissed ourselves laughing :D They were all wannabe Ali G's with a huge ring on every finger, dancing with that wanking hand motions they always do. This is funny in itself, but when there's about 4,000 rude boyz doing it it's just hilarious! Mind you, they had scantily clad dancers in the garage arena, which they didn't have in any other arenas ;) We spent quite a bit of Dave Pearce's set in the Garage room :eyes:
