Group Papers

I have this group paper on Noam Chomsky that I have to put together and edit. Thing is, FIVE people wrote different parts of it. That's FIVE different writing styles of varying degrees of proficiency. What pisses me off is how badly some people write. It just took me an hour to edit 5 pages of one of my partners who can't write worth . I might as well have re-written their entire part. People need to learn how to freakin write...:whip:
EDIT: Some of you may know about passive and active voice. University papers should always be written in active voice. If I have to edit 5 more pages of nothing but passive voice, I'm going to go insane... |

You shouldn't accept group papers to begin with.
and tell the teacher to off if they try to force it on you. |

Me: off
Professor: your grade ;)
Unless you're in an advanced program, group papers SUCK. I really don't know what the point was to have 5 people write one paper. |

| its merely a lesson in working together with others, to achieve a goal...nothing more. Their hoping it will improve social skillz and get u ready for a real world working environment, however lame it might be. Get used to it. |

I sure as hell won't be working with people who can't express themselves properly, but hey, school is filled with crap everyone hates doing. |

Biggest line of bull ever. If you're in college and still having problems with your social skills, you need to take a good look at your life. |

eeeeeeen wrong. Try again. Yet again, I wouldn't expect much more from someone who still writes "u" instead of "you" and z's for s's. |
