| OK, here is the deal. I dont have a problem with conversations among members, but recently there have been threads where people request certain things like the marco v set request post. Whoever started it was asking for marco v sets. I answered him with several that I had. I was followed with 2 pages of a conversation that didnt pertain to the original post at all. All Im asking is that if you do choose to converse in the threads that you keep it to the original thread subject or post it in the post padding room (thats what it is for). The Mauro Picotto roll call thread was put in place for people to set up a meetup for this weekend, not for sig recommendations, again thats what the post padding room is for. Not to kill the good vibe that we have here, but when you see the same 4 people posting all the time it is intimidating for new members to post at all. They dont want to start talking when there is a huge click in effect and I think thats the situation we have now. The NY Forums has basically been narrowed down to a few people, where as before we had 40-45 people, now we have 20-25 because people feel intimidated by the regulars. I just ask that you keep the posts to the subject they refer to. :) |
