Connect it to the line-in on your sound card and record. Some minidisc players also have USB ports and proprietary software to transfer data. |

when did you buy your minidisc?
i got mine in like 2002, 2003, i loved it. But it became impractical. Now I use an ipod for listening and a zoom h-2 for recording |

| re-recording is gonna make it sound worse, so get some software and transfer the file over. |

| most or all minidiscs has either optical or coaxial digital output (and input), alot of soundcards (mostly external) has that too (mostly coaxial, which is called s-pdif in producing-industry somehow) so I assume you could use that to avoid converting from digital to analog to digital again. then download some recording tool who allows to do the recording right like www.reaper.fm. maybe, i havent got mucho experience with s-pdif but i would try it. echo audiofire 2 is a great external soundcard (firewire) who has s-pdif. |
