Lol, personal trainers and their know it all egos. My advice worked very well for me, and no way in hell doing 2 sessions a week of cardio for only 15 minutes is gonna have your abs showing (except for HIIT). Train your abs all u want, but w/o lots of cardio to get that low bf, u won't see the 6 pack. I've been on BB for long time, and have my workout and diet plans off their. If your bloated, its cause your diet is . BTW, most people on BB give advice for getting big and beefy, which is not what were after here.:rolleyes: |

that's me about 2 years ago. 3 days a week weights, 2 days a week cardio. like i said, my family has thyroid problems and i have a very slow metabolism. if i can do it, then it would be even easier for someone with a normal metabolism. i guess that pretty much proves you wrong hey?

Let me put it this way mayne. When I started working out I was about a buck fiddy. Now i'm hovering at around 194 lbs (not more than 15 percent bodyfat i'm sure). By the time I get to 200 i'll have gained at least 40 lbs of lean muscle mass. I can lose about 20 lbs of muscle if I stop working out, and gain that back in less than a year.
I've been going to my gym for over a year and i've seen a lot of people since day one who look exactly the same now. In fact, I don't know anyone there who looks like they've made a significant change in the way they look...and they all look either like they don't work out at all, or they are big and strong but way too fat. Or they're somewhat advanced and making gains at a crawl at this point.
The point is, it's not in the odds that you will have 'what it takes' to look the way you want to look. Or even change your body much at all. It's not easy. In fact it's pretty god damned difficult, painful, and time consuming. That's why most people don't even try to exercise.
So go for it mayne, and talk to me when you want to learn what exercises to do for your legs. |

my point exactly. people dont understand that in order to make ANY change at all you gotta work like a bodybuilder. even then it's going to be slow as. |

i barley do any cardio (well summers i usually bike everywhere) but i have a low calorie diet (because i usually never meet my surplus required per day) and i weight train regularly. as a result i have a bit of muscle tone. Sadly my metabolism is way up there and i need to be on a strict routine to put on mass. This was oct 2007.. im sure im 138 or 137 here..
