summer events / festivals in midwest?

hi midwest TA's, i haven't posted here since i was in terre haute (i think), but i just have a question.
i get out of school around may 18th, in worcester, massachusetts. i should be getting a new car (finally) within that time period or at least within a couple weeks, and so i want to take advantage and do a roadtrip during that time, asap when i get the new car. so basically i'm looking for any good festivals / events in minneapolis, detroit, chicago, wherever during anywhere from late may through june.
my favorite genre is florida breaks, but i'm a big fan of trance & house too. i know there's DEMF in late may, i'm not certain if i'd have the new car by then, but if i do, i could definitely go to that. i'm just looking for other options.

| awesome, thanks guys for the help so far. demf is definitely my #1, but memf looks tempting too. hmmm. anything around MPLS? |

| Are there any EDM dudes playing summerfest? I have heard of oakenfold showing up, but that is it. |

| Oakenfold was at Summerfest in 2004. Crystal Method and Thievery Corporation are the only EDM acts confirmed for this year, i believe. |
