Not too bad, imo.
I'd say boost the highs a little more, but I like my electro crunchy, so yeah. |

this really does span genres :)
personally i would say throw in a few more effects to break up the main lead a bit. |

| i like the space it has. needs some more musicality to it i guess. |

thanks everyone for the replies!!!
genre-wise....definitely not sure what to label it with....but i like that!
this track is purely 4 days old, so I'm definitely sure I can put together more ideas and whatnots
so...I do need to re-adjust the filter cuz it does loose that edge near the end, I made the initial adjustments to where its at cuz the resonance I was afraid was going to be too ear piercing on the high end...but it was fine for me but more of a precaution to the other....plus i think it would do even better when its going crazy on a loudsystem.
ok....regarding the metronome that you're referring to....I'm assuming its that mild arp'ing pong sound i got going on in the background....if so, I will definitely reconsider cuz I definitely do not want the thought of a metronome going on in this track!
regarding the breaks-ish drums, kinda had the idea of going with a signalrunners type of main drum line or whatever....thought it'd be fun and different, but while especially keeping the 4/4 feel
more musicality...i'm not too sure how i could better integrate this in this track particularly except additional layers or something throughout the track except during the break.
also...could you expound a lil more on the vocale sense you mention???
again.....thanks so much for the input....anymore would be greatly appreciated! |

Damn! Sounds pretty sick man!
You can leave everything as it is, just do a remix of the levels with fresh ears and EQ, bring more character to your elements.
I think a light touch of vocal or speech would add some dimension and depth to the song. And you can make a shorter version as well, 5 or 6 minutes long, because the energy level levels off and the song goes on without building more, vocals should help a lot. Or you can just make a short version of the song.
Please leave me some feedback!

I like the kick. Really cuts through. The sounds you do have are great but I'm not sure if it needs a few extra elements added. The groove and techy percussion and FX all work really well but the track as a whole is definately missing something to compliment the main bass sound you have.
Might wanna look at cutting some frequencies in the mids that come on a bit strong now and then.
Plus points - the kick, bass and percs and groove (which all work really well)
Negatives just lacking a lead of sorts to catch my attention - doesnt have to be melodic or anything but the bass on its own, whilst really cool isnt enough to keep listening. |

thanks...i hear you on this and definitely agree
any suggestions...like short synth sounds comin in n out, more glitchy stuff?!?!
or any songs you may suggest to listen to get some ideas from...
right now i've been trying to really absorb the track and everyone's responses before i sit back down with it. just giving myself and the song the space before moving on with it again!
thanks again |

Well, you could go down the stabby big synth route. something like Sander Van Doorns - Riff or many of Marco V's productions. You could even try a plucky arp running along in the higher frequencies.
Not entirely sure. Best thing to do is experiment with different ideas which I'm sure you plan to do when you go back to it :) |
