remixing can be a very daunting task and there are only a handful of producers out there who can be labeled as masters of the craft. when it comes to giving their own interpretation to an existing peice of music I feel these artists almost never fail to deliver.
Black Strobe
Oliver Lieb
Way Out West
Unkle
Hardfloor
special mention to;
Pvd (circa 94-03)
Oakenfold & Osbourne (90s)
so lets name some consistently good remixers. feel free to mention artists on the opposite side of the spectrum as well. I find quivver to be immense when it comes to producing his own stuff but when he dabbles in remixes i think most of them fall short (with the odd exception). |

| Vern Yip |
| Will Holland, Paul Miller, Activa, Sean Tyas those are my favorites right now. I feel like a pun for putting Sean Tyas down. |

| SteelWolf |
| No so much lately, but Ferry Corsten has done some very good remixes in the past. |

| Cobalt |
| Slacker delivered some fantastic remixes. Voices, Tyrantanic, and Zerotonine were my favorites. |

Fuzzy Hair.
All too many producers think that "remix" means "completely new track with vocals or main hook from original thrown on top".
Fuzzy Hair, on the other hand, is genius in that he loops vocals and turns them into percussion, and makes full usage of every possible element in the original track. |
