alright, this isn't my usual style but i was bored last night and was just throwing things together in logic and some randomness evolved. not much to it, rather raw sketch of some ideas but you'll get the point. now for some reason, i find the siney, sonar thingys to be a bit on the cheesy side so i'm figuring out some alternatives.

what do YOU think, get rid of the plonky stuff or just keep building around it?

I think this is a great start of a great track, i love the atmospheric intro, nice percs.. subtle groove, very laidback.
you're really good at creating space, and although the sonary things are used a lot, it takes style and sweet notes to make a track special. You've got that right here.

It fits the track so who cares if the sound, sounds generic if the song doesn't. Ya know what i am saying?

I suggest that you definitely keep working on this track to see what you can make of it. I surely wouldn't scrap it!

I like it :) I personally would use a more powerful kickdrum but that's my personal preference :)

Keep working on it I say, it's not cheesy. Some more low end would be nice IMO.

definitely sounds underdeveloped from what i've heard from you, so it's hard to judge it really.

I don't think it's the most original diynamic/get physical/pokerflatish track i've ever heard, but 'cheesy' is really a stretch.

i think you should play around with other ideas rather than the sonar bleeps.

don't change the kick lol
