the boys from Entourage had them shipped from NY to LA, which means California bagels must suck. you can't argue with cold hard factual evidence like that. :p

That's because they grew up in New York so Ben's argument still stands ;)

No, Ben's argument only stands if you define "different interpretations" as being ignorant of quality.

If all you know is , after all, of course you're going to think it's alright. It's all you know.

When it comes to bagels and pizza, there is simply no arguing - it isn't elitism, it isn't that they "think" they are better, they just are in fact better.

:p

lol thats not evidence. thats just along the same line as people from new york always saying, "its nothing like new yorks, so its pure !"..come on. when you think about that statement or "fact" that they are supposedly better. you are GOING INTO IT with the thought that NY bagels are the best, and therefore when you actually eat them, youre expecting them to be. its just stupid. they may be different from ny, which i dont doubt, but they are both unique to their respective areas, influence, and style of baking. how does that, from what appears to be an elitist point of view, make them better or worse?

I have an objective viewpoint. I'm not from New York. :o

:p i have no clue what "real" ny bagels taste like, but i am honestly sick of the whole, "ny this, and that, and on a stick" is better just cause its from ny and its the "original" whatever. it gets annoying.

This never fails to gross people out but stuffed tomatoes with tuna inside. I still love them.

I like to think that another point in my favor is the fact that I'm from the middle of the country originally - meaning I obviously have a fair and balanced view that doesn't favor either coast.

Fun Fact: Midwesterners are responsible for the successful resolution of the East v. West rap feud.

Of course, by successful I mean that we made sure Tupac and Biggie were dead first, as the whole situation would have had far less significance without some clutch deaths.

I am the glue that holds the fabric of the nation together (and passes judgment accordingly): a Midwesterner.
