I have done a search on this site on how to download ringtones. But I still don't have a definitive answer.
I have a Nokia 8890 and want to download some trance ringtones. I have the keystrokes for some tunes, but how do I get them in my phone. I am in the United States, if that makes a difference.

i have a nokia 3310, so the menus will be basically the same...
if u have the key strokes like 8f1 8g1 8#g1 etc, then go thru the menu's like this:
menu > tones > composer > then select an empty slot or write over an existing one..
the notes are as follows...
1=c 2=d 3=e 4=f 5=g 6=a 7=b
8 and 9 alter the length of the note
* alters the octave of the note
# makes it a sharp note (as in 8g#1)
0 puts breaks in, u can alter the length of the break with 8 and 9
or alternatly you could read ur manual :p;)

this is supposedly the ringtone for Tranzy state of mind, I don't have a Nokia phone so I can't say how good it is. But I'm only interested in the notes, could anybody translate this into notes for me? :happy2: |

I could but I can't be bothered thinking right now :crazy:
But:
4 = crotchet
8 = quaver
16 = semiquaver
etc
the a b c
etc are just the notes
the 1,2,3 refers to the octave, middle C is probably c2
the - means rest
to start u off on tranzy state:
semiquaver on low A, semiquaver rest, semiquaver on E above middle C, quaver on A above middle C, semiquaver on e above middle C and so on :D

im pretty sure the 8890 doesnt have a composer. What u need to do is get someone with a nokia 3310, 3330, 3210 etc, or a nokia with a composer and then pay em 10p to send it to ur phone! |

I currently hold on my Nokia 3360, "For an angel" PVD..in which it was sent to my phone.
Now, anyone know a site where I can find Cafe del Mar? I dont have a composer..I would need it to be sent directly.
