Well here's my 2 cents: thought it was your typical PvD outdoor set. Comparable to all of the sets he threw down at CP (except for the one when it rained - that was fukin sick). Really looking forward to seeing him (and Matt Darey) in a few hours at the after party!

Saw you walking around haha.

Anyway, I thought it was good. Didnt get tix to the afterparty, going to a local club instead.

Some people there have got to learn some respect though. Constantly pushing up against others and ramming you by so called dancing.

One thing REALLY surprised me though...he played in and out of love without the vocals????

I knew it sounded familiar when i turned on my ringtone and its one of my favorites so eh yea.

Anybody have information on the photographers that were there? What companies were they from? And the video camera? Where can we find those.

good set, though i was expecting something exceptional. the venue was cool and a refreshing change from CP, although the volume was inconsistent and far too weak beyond the immediate vicinity of the stage [it seemed to get louder at points before dropping back down].

paul was solid and started banging it out during the last 90 minutes (we could've used more of that); oddly, he even dug up 'beautiful things' and 'as the rush comes.' crowd was largely obnoxious, mangled, and annoying.

the pier has a lot of potential as a site for more dance events (hopefully minus the douchebags and with some sound adjustments).

what was the remix of 'helsinki scorchin' that he played early on? rory said it was the michael cassette mix but the sample i just listened to didn't quite match up.

Good time, wonderful set. It was funny seeing that jet-skier guy digging the tunes. Also entertaining was seeing people's reactions to seeing themselves on the video screens. There was one girl who the camera-person really liked, and showed her on the screen for a good 5 minutes LOL. I thought the effects on the videos were cool too.

I wonder how the show looked from buildings with a view of the pier, and to people passing by on the West Side Highway.

Finished the gallery, letting PvD's people give it a once-over before I post it tomorrow night!

Expect some extremely epic Rukes shots :)

nope I have to disagree. I'm not a big tracklist person, but Helsinski Scortchin is one of my fav tunes of all times...... and it def wasnt the original. I hate the remix's that have been done and remember being pissed and wishing the original was played instead of one of the crap remix's.
