Definatly up there with my favourite trance compilations of all time. Saw him in Newcastle on the release night and he pretty much played all those tunes. Matt Hardwick at his finest.
Other compliations i admire have already been mentioned and include the usual suspects; involver, seven ways and tiesto ISOS3 (i dont care if its tiesto, i ing enjoyed it alright) |

the only album that i've heard which i like better as a whole than as separate tracks:
l.s.g. - rendezvous in outer space.
it's also probably my favorite album.

Because you mention the Enigma album i'll go for two perfect non-EDM ambient (in the brader sense)albums

Thanks guys for the reply.. I am currently checking out Earthshine, The Orb's Covers, Amon Tobin - Bircolage and Leftfeild - Rthyem..
I already heard Armin - Boundaries really liked it a LOT and Pvd - Out their back.. I hated that album.. disgusted.
I mentioned Enigma just to give an example, I personally thought it was Ok album, but later everyone overplayed it so much everywhere that it got to the point I started hating Mea Culpa.. its like a drivel never ending haunting noise to me now that follows me everywhere I go.
One particular album mentioned above that I am really looking forward to listening is : Banco de Gaia - Big Men Cry.. its a funny album name and looks like to have lot of emotional melodies.. :) |
