Okay...

E Minor, I - iii - IV progression in the bass and in the melody. Sounds okay. That progression seems really common in trance, but it's not necessarily bad to use common stuff.

The melody pretty much moves exactly with the bass; are you going to keep it like that, or vary it later in the track? I dunno, I like melodies that complement the bassline rather than just following them, but I guess that's a personal preference.

The breakbeat in the beginning is an interesting touch.

It's obvious that you have the engineering part pretty much down, and that's good -- the synths, percussion, and levels sound basically ready for a release. But what you have so far sounds pretty "standard" -- it doesn't have much to distinguish it from other hard-ish trance tracks floating around the web, except for the fact that it starts with a breakbeat. All in all a decent start.

Nice Review Thanks :) I was actually just testing out some sounds I like complementary melodies too, I hope you didnt think it was a waste of time downloading this .. Its just an Idea I had I was more focused on mastering :)

Hello! It sounds good for an intro, but that's pretty much all it is so far. I like the hat/shake perc from 0:18; very dynamic. I'd change the melodic synth sound though (the one that gradually fades in from about halfway through the sample) as it feels weak compared with the rest of the parts.

Question: Where's your vocal sample from?

i liked it up to the first minute, i think that intro would suit something more softer than a hard trance beat that it goes in to after the first minute.
yes i would be interested in knowing the source of those vocals too.

Sounds really good.

In terms of making the bassline not sound generic, I can think of 5 different modifications that you could make off my head that would make it sound unique. Just play around with it more.

Don't you love MIDI? You can just click on the note and drag it up and down. Haha.

Pretty sick track!
