Enough sarcasm... why don't you all put your money where your mouth is and come up with an FAQ page that categorizes and answers some of the most common questions? You could provide an overview of the most common questions, links, resources, answers, etc. Then put it at the top of the form, like a sticky or something, call it an FAQ, and in the title put Please Read... but make it bold and underline it. And be sure to mention that you can search for answers, too. Geez.
But no, you all have to just make fun of the people and be sarcastic and stuff. |

For a lot of these questions, there aren't any "right" answers.
"What synths should I get?"
"What DAW should I get?"
"What monitors should I get?"
"Should I use hardware or software?"
The only real answer to those questions is "try things out and use whatever you find best."
But that's not what people want to hear. They want to have their hands held through the whole process and be told what "teh pr0s" use because they think that using the same tools as Armin or Sander van Doorn or Deadmau5 or whoever is a shortcut to making good and professional music.

There's already a FAQ at the top of the forum anyway. |

I was being very, very sarcastic and describing the thorough FAQ thread already there. |

I don't know why you say you need hardware cause its anal-log. If a tune is good, a tune is good no matter what you play it on:cool: |

+1 It's very very very easy to just say "try and see what you like". It's also ridiculously expensive to do so. Some people know what sound they're looking for, and just need some general guidance/suggestions. I really don't see what's so funny about that. |
