We ordered these deep-fried crickets at an excellent restaurant in Vientiane, Laos, called "Khop Chai Deu" (thank you!).
Between the 3 of us, we ate the whole plate. TASTY. They make that crunch noise just like you said. |

Why are people so freaked out by stuff like lamb's intestines or sheep's brains? It's no different from eating thigh, breast or any other part of the animal.
Then again, Ox tongues freak the out of me, not because of what they are, but just because of what they look like raw. |

This thread has made me realise how weird some of you are.
I consider myself fairly neurotic, yet I don't have any of these strange fears.
What the hell is wrong with a fly landing on a person's head??? It's germy maybe? Who gives a , bacteria are everywhere. Get over it. |
