Mr. G - Sometimes I Cry [Proof]

Original and Radio Slave mixes on this one - I've bought both, but have absolutely fallen in love with the original to the point where I just don't think that Radio Slave's holds any weight with me at all anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like it - it's definitely a nice tune, one of the tunes from RS I've liked more lately, but the original is just epic.

Just the simple vocal with the rolling bassline and rising percs make for a fun tune to mix and one I'm hoping will be absolutely massive out live.

Samples, Beatport, etc.

I believe it's "Sometimez" :o

After listening to the sample of the original, the tune is very hot indeed. It's clean and crisp like 2008, but the overall warmth of the track and the percs especially give it that classic yet modern twist.

The Radio Slave remix, is a pretty sexy cut, but in a different class by comparison in my opinion. I like it, but it didn't stand a chance going up against the classic warmth of the original.

Original > Radio Slave Remix (but it's still gewd)

RS remix sounds like imo...

Original is nice. Diva house getting filthy...

Mr. G's been on fire lately. Loving almost everything he's put out.

RS mix is OK for what it is (when taken on its own), but it's just one of those tunes that now that I've fallen in love with original doesn't seem to compare even a little bit.

I really can't wait to get the chance to play this out on Saturday.

The RS mix I liked based on the beatport sample, then I bought it and listened to it in full....it got a bit repetitive and dull. I know most RS mixes are like that, but this one just went no where.

The original sounds great, but I can't really tell just based on a sample, I'll need to listen to it in full.
