Viva Or Turbo May 17th ???

Should I go to Viva or Turbo??
Viva plays trance on fridays and Turbo should be ok too.
Not sure what Dj Jean will play ?? any ideas??

| dj jean will play a lot of trance, cheesy as well..he will drop some progressive tracks coz its the cool thing to do now lol |

| no, no one is going to stare at you. That's ridiculous. There are non asians there as well. Most people there are really friendly. Just go and you'll have a good time. The last time I went there it was all ages on Fridays but I heard they have their bar license now so there's a separate bar area for 19+. |

Viva is the most underestimated club in this city. It has amazing sound that would even put Guv to shame and a lazer show that require that you wear shades.. Only Guv can test Vivas setup, and honestly Guvs main room configuration cannot test Viva's. Everyone at Guv faces the dancefloor and the dj is next to impossible to see. At Viva the clubs focal point is the dj booth, in other words the whole club faces the dj. To top it all off they play some kick ass trance, progressive and when the time is right some hard acid-trance...
I am always there on Fridays, but be ready for the full house, its normally rammed in there until like 7am... |

heh i will vouch for that .. the lighting and sound system in this place WILL blow you away. It is probably the BEST system in the CITY outside of Guv if it doesn't rival Guv already! Underestimated? you bet..
and don't worry about the crowd. Just bring some friends along and u'll be fine.. |

Yes but do you know what the Phazon system is? i mean exactly?
Phazon is just the name of the company that setup the sound system. They supposedly have a reputation but at the same time many clubs and venues throughout the world do not have a Phazon setup system but yet have good sound.

They are just a sound system setup company which provides some of the sound transfer equipment, and it turns out Guvernment uses some of the same speakers as does Viva, namely EAW speakers (exact specifics i am not aware of but i do know for a fact that this is the case). And for that matter, check the EAW website to see who they have on the main page:

I think people should be critical of what they hear. Phazon is infamous because of Twilo and the Sasha and Digweed tours. Remember they promoted each other, hence why everyone has heard about Phazon but not necessarily exactly what it is.
At the same time there is no doubt that the Guv sound system is very impressive and that these Phazon guys really do know what their doing. However, one should not automatically assume that if the sound system is not setup by Phazon that it cannot compare.. |
