Thats not too bad, ur lucky u didnt chip the paint on the door.
Thats going to be decently pricey to fix if you want it done good. I wouldnt penny pinch on the repair. If you do you will be regretting it a year from now when that whole section is doesnt match the rest of the car.
I have decent hook ups, but its all the way down here in SD and its a quality shop. |

woody.. good news/bad news
the scarpe is deeper then a ding doctors. So it will need to be buffed, sanded, painted etc... the biggest problem is it is on a seam of a panel (where the rear meets the rear door) so you will need to prime, and paint both sections. This will probably cost about $800 if you do it proper.
Good news If your deductible through your car insurance is less then that you can say you were in the mall, and you came out to your car, and it was like that. Because it is not a moving violation, and you are not at fault, your insurance will cover it for your collision deductible. Wich is normally about $250-$500 |

If he scraped into something himself, he's certainly at fault...
Trust me, I know lol.
And comprehensive would cover it if it's not his fault, wouldn't it? |

Hahaha here's what happened. I was parked at my work's parking structure. The whole structure is a one way loop. I was parked next to a post at the end of the loop. I pulled forward and didn't wanted to drive all the way around the loop just to get to the same spot I was at, so I made a right turn, and didn't see the cement post that was next to my car and hit it.
