what a great night!
1015 is such a great club, Myself and my friends all had a great time. It reminds me alot of circus a couple years back. Great staff, nice drinks, alot of energy, casual clubbers and everybody is dancing.
My set went over pretty well, everybody seem very into the music. Blurr and others did a great job with the production. I really dig the stage setup over there. The lighting and lazers as well as the circular thing behind the stage is sick. One complaint i did have was the strobe light. It was in a sequence at one point where it just flashed every 5 seconds or so. It felt like somebody was flashing a camera and you would go blind for a second or two after, just as your sight recovered - it would flash again.
Nice to see a few TA's, Mecca, Rizo, Skwallie, Blurr and a few others were there i think.
I have some great pics and video clips that i will post later, actually just got back and came straight to work, not fun. |

good to see you to Josh, i like all the tracks u play... specially the prog psy ones... i recogneized a few tracks i loved myself... Feuerhake - Glowing Nights, Zen Mechanics - Ground COntrol v2, and another Zen track u played back 2 back...
only i didnt quite like the trance u played, but i dont blame you because, the crowd was dying for some trace (im too crazy compare to most), and once u bring it back up in the end, i knew u meant to take it down and finish strong with a bang that was quite delightful... |

| yea i dropped a tranc remix of Digital Blondes "legato" and the crowd loved it, so i figured id drop a few more trance tracks and they ate them up, so i thought it was a good call. But couldnt resist going back into the psy for the last 30 min or so. |

ya but havent gone through them yet as im house sitting in the city. i have a laptop from work w/ me but its not the same as my home pc :whip: |

Josh it was a pleasure havin you in the house this weekend. I really dug your set and your music was spot on. I'll be lookin forward to seein you back at 1015 agian.
It was good to hear some Psy in there at the end of your set. I thought it went over well too and the crowd really seemed to be enjoying themselves with the hard hitting beats.
Ima remind myself next time when you come back, to bring my earplugs. Freakin A, I seriously think Im loosin DB every weekend...
Hopefully we will get the chance to spin together out there! |

| My ears are blown as well! When i got up to the decks pilot had those monitors cranked up! i asked to put em down, but he said the sound up front wasnt to good and that i should leave them up. They sounded pretty crunchy throughout my set as they were so loud. I had some trouble mixing all night because of it, i should have just toned em down, i hardly ever have the monitors up as my ears are really sensitive... My ears still havent recovered:( |

A little late review because I've been working since Saturday. It's nice to finally have a day off. Let me say that I was suppose to leave at 1:15 after Josh went on, but as his set progressed I started to feel the music he was playing. One thing for sure is that once he started to hit the harder stuff I knew I was ed for Sunday.:p There honestly something about psy that I really like.
I did pay the price for the next few days, but Saturday was worth it. Wish I could have stuck around for Taj, but I usually can't, but judging by the pictures that night taken by Rizo it seemed the night continued on nicely after Josh.
It was also nice to see Pilot back at 1015. Missed his set at the last Local Love he played at. I thought he played a pretty good set. Nice to hear a few anthems here and there, especially Satellite. |
