Once upon a thread, DA gave us a scare when nobody could get in contact with him for several days. I believe it turned out he just took a ton of Vicodin and passed out. He ended up being fine, and if I recall, thanked many of us for worrying about him, even if it was quite needless. Well, it seemed needless at the time anyways.
I guess the lesson here, if there is one, is that sometimes people slip so far, they don't even know that they need help, nor how many people would be there for them if they but asked. It could happen to anyone.
It's very sad, but in the end I feel that DA made the most individual decision that any person could possibly make, and whatever you think of him, his actions have spoken far louder than anybody's voice in the matter possibly could. |
