Boot camp issue partition freeze...

Hey guys. I'm trying to partition for an XP install on my MBP 2.4 ghz and every time I get to the partition step it starts but then after a few mins I get a message that says I have to do a hard restart. I then have to repair my disk using the Leopard install disk. It's happened a few times in a row. There's no real answer for it on the apple forums.

Anyone have this problem?

You're using the Boot Camp utility to create the partition, right?

Yeah I was. I actually solved the problem by dloading iDefrag. Seems i didnt have a good clean chunk to make the partition and it was causing a kernal panic. So if anyone has this prob in the future, get a defrag program.
