Any DD sites that sell....

Old tunes such as Quivver, Lucid, X-Cabs, Nalin & Kane, the timo maas remix of paganinni trax - zoe etc? I need to invest in these & would prefer digi download over 12" or cd, but may end up settling for the latter. Thanks.

Beatport ha a pretty decent back catalog, most all of Hooj is there. A lot of those tracks you just have to get on vinyl or CD tho, sorry mate, so many record labels are now defunct and never sold their rights to be digital downloaded.
Ian
Aye it's a shame. It'd be nice if some of them could reform to sell via digital, because a lot of people would love to get their hands on stuff we previously missed out on.

Just download them illegally. I don't think you'll hurt anyone's career with that since most of them stopped with producing anyway

Erm, support the labels and the scene in general too? Come on, a DD is like £1.50.

I believe it was because the ones in question aren't up on DD sites, not just download them regardless :)

I'm not sure if they have exactly what you're looking for but I know trackitdown has a lot of old early 90s stuff that beatport doesn't, including some of the old EyeQ catalogs, that's where I'd look.

old x-cabs stuff is gonna be available this summer when all the hook recordings back catalogue is put online

I always wondered why these legit download sites never show up when you google a track, but all the dodgy russion 10 cent sites do.
would make it much easier for people to do the right thing and pay for the music.

damn right. I spent over an hour yesterday trying to buy paganini trax - zoe (timo maas remix) and trawled 3 or 4 looking, but those really gash ones as you mention which iirc also steal your money (i think i recall someone having it happen)
