Beema : Longer Days Mean Better Nights : April 2008 Promo Mix
With this promo mix, I am also taking the opportunity to introduce the NoMansLand Podcast:

This mix is the inaugural episode of the podcast.
For those who don't know, NoMansLand is an organization I founded for techno in Washington, DC. It hosts monthly techno events which have included Camea, Adultnapper, and soon Par Grindvik. This podcast will primarily be broadcasting sets from these events, but will also feature guest mixes as well as my own promo mixes. So updates will be monthly for the most part.

The mix featured on the podcast is an "extended cut."
That is to say, it is the original cut of the mix which runs longer than a CD and had to be trimmed down for the final product.
So I hope you enjoy this "exclusive" ;)

What a superb mix man! So organic :happy2: . I especially enjoyed the first half of the mix. It built up so so well right from the beginning. Got a bit dull for me for one or two tracks around the hour mark, but then picked right back up again with really smooth tracks right through to the end. Overall an excellent mix and will definitely be included, along with your November mix, with the rest of the techno I'm burning for my dad's 51st b-day (which happens to be tomorrow :eyespop: ). I'll let you know if he likes it lol.
Going back to the end of your mix.. that last track :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: !! Was it you adding those effects or was the track that trippy by default?? Great way to end the mix. Unfortunately for me, effects like that are a bit unsettling thanks to, erm.. past experiences :stongue: . I'll be sure to have a listen to the set you posted right under the adultnapper link. On to the next bump... :cool: |

I did add effects, but that track is pretty nutty on it's own, so I guess a little of both?
I'm assuming you are talking about the final track in the full-length mix
