I had a great time too... I was with my girlfriend and some other friends, we were all loving Ferry.

He played a lot more trance than last time I saw him!!!

Looking forward to the next show!

ferry was great last sat! i went nuts when he played "beautiful," since i totally digg the lyrics. however, it kinda sucked that he didnt stay at the end. guess he was afraid of getting mobbed by his hardcore fans. lol..

I was not really into the music at aLLLLLLLLLLLL all I remember was bass and thats it. The only reason this night was fun because I was with regulars (Adam and friend). It was a odd crowd with girls dancing with no shoes (like 10 of them) Guy with the huge silver shoes, VIP where only Asian got to get in (white and black where denied entrance lol)

So yea no more Ferry for me and its sucks cause one thign I won't miss will be how overcrowd it is and just don't under people going to stand around. I used to be into trance so much and all I remember was loud noise :( . I will probably go see DJ's who aren't so big cause there clearly much more fun than the mega DJ's.

Wia and Kelly not fair thta you stayed in VIP all nite
I enjoyed go to the dinner with hotties  :eyes: Comg to NY in June for :disbelief :disbelief :disbelief ????????

Adam and frined always make my nites well worth it.

haha awww my bad.....we were just soo comfy!! :) <3 ibiza VIP. ;)

btw I dont remember one damn asian in the whole upstairs if that makes you feel better about the "discrimination" you speak of. They were totally fine with letting us white and black people up LOFL! ;)

haha I still get giggles thinking of big mike chasing after that car. smooth move, casey.

Also, the guy who was standing next to his mustang and was like "I take E and then go down the highway at 120mph. Whatta RUSSHHHHH!" haha cool guy, but that freaked me out......AINT NOBODY drivin with you buddy!! haha!! :nervous: :haha:

I get a tap on my shoulder "Happy birthday kellllly!!! Cheers!! Oh wait, your drink is empty at MY party. THIS IS NOT acceptable!!! we will cheers when the buckets come up!!" <3 <3 ok ok so obviously being a ferry fan, hearing that from your fav is how I HAVE to start my DC shenanigans story. Didnt TELL him it was my bday so that was even hotter. I dont care, I am a dork, but that made me happy so STFU all of you. ;) (i feel the rip-on-kelly-for-being-a-dork-comments coming)

Anyways, DC is just pure awesomeness.

Ibiza: Lyssa is 100% right about this place. The set up is JUST about perfect. Even for Ferry, I could look down and see that people werent about to have heart attacks from space....there was actually bit of room to dance. and HOLY people **werent** rude and said excuse me and introduced themselves without having to be on ecstacy. lol interesting concept. VIP was set up so lovely, and there was room to dance because they didnt let every tom, dick and harry up there.....a concept that pacha fails to understand. Isnt the point of paying so much to have your own space? It may have been different on the ground floor VIP tho, because THAT was packed. No big POLES going do the middle of the floor. Awesome set up tho: white couches, decent lighting, big space, two FULL bars, plus more upstairs, friendly staff....the place was rockin. Really amazing people. I was 100% cheese the whole night and was told so by many, because we both couldnt stop smiling at the music, the people, and the RIDICULOUS and hilarious conversations that were occuring.

NYC was amazing, but I havent had so much fun in the longest time. The sets from ferry were comparable to NYC in terms of quality. I would say he played more classics friday and more upbeat crazy on saturday....so while it *was* different,I think they were about the same in how good he was. He had the crowd by the balls.

Breakfast: holy shizzzzaaa. I felt like a proud mom, probably because I am like 5000 years older than him, and partially because he has just evolved and improved and blown UP since we first met a couple years ago. So impressed my friend! You know you have made it when the girls ask you to sign their ....haha!! His set was bananas....dark and yummy tunes. Him and ferry are a match made in edm heaven.....they are both hilarious, crazy guys with talent to the goddamn moon. Thanks casey, for everything, we had a BLAST. casey's mom, as usual has energy like a 21 year old and danced the night away with us.

Glad to meet some DC ta's: bigjimslade (and his boys)and his intensity, derangedmind, who finally believes that, I am in fact, not an (LOL!!), and a bunch of DC'ers NOT on TA.

moments: headbangin, pornstars, giving therapy at a club??.... and of course when casey took off in the SUV with Big Mike running after it "DONT LEEEEEAVVVEEE MEEEE!!!" lol!! :haha: Love ya mike, this weekend was so much fun!! :)

Couldnt take too many because my camera was low but:)

This past Saturday was absolutely special! Ferry Corsten was back in DC, this time spinning for the first time ever @ GLOW's new home (Ibiza Nightclub)! Three weeks earlier in Miami, I had the pleasure of seeing Ferry Corsten perform an absolutely phenomenal 4 hour @ Space and a short yet beautiful set @ Ultra Music Festival! I was not going to miss out this night no matter what!

Earlier in the night, I had met up with my friend Trudi (Ferry Corsten fanatic from Toronto) for dinner @ Cafe Asia in downtown DC. I had heard stories about Ferry's ok set in LA last Saturday, and I was hoping that Ferry would not disappoint. After an excellent dinner and two beers, it was time to hit GLOW.

By the time Trudi and I arrived to GLOW (around 10:50PM), the main room was still closed. After 10 long minutes in the front room, the main room was opened at 11:00PM and Breakfast soon took over the decks. Breakfast absolutely surprised with his darker and somewhat heavier set, which was definitely more on the techno tip! As much as I have enjoyed Breakfast's sets in the past, this one was blew me away! After starting on my first Stoli Ohrahj on the rocks, Trudi and I headed to the upper level. It turned out to be a better idea, since I did not have to deal with crowds and I had a great unobstructed view of the floor, the light show, and the front side of the DJ booth. Breakfast continued to amaze and then closed out his awesome set with his best track ever...The Sunlight! At that time, Ferry walked in and briefly hung out with Casey.

At 12:30AM Ferry took over the decks, starting off his set with Into The Dark, his hauntingly beautiful track featuring vocals from Howard Jones! Ferry proceeded to amaze with an absolutely energetic and phenomenal set! I was more than happy to hear Seth Hutton - Don't Look Behind You, one of the tracks from Ferry's new Gatecrasher mix CD! Not long after, Ferry dropped one of my favorite tracks from L.E.F...Fire! There were quite a few more tracks that definitely made my night, especially Ferry Corsten - Beautiful, Cosmic Gate - I Feel Wonderful, and Markus Schulz vs. Andy Moor - Daydream!!! Ferry's incredibly awesome set went till around 3:30AM. Even though the club lights had been turned on at 3:00AM, Ferry was still going strong and was most definitely enjoying the crowd! To the dismay of all the Ferry fans in the front, Ferry only was given time for 1 more encore (Brain Box). As much as I loved seeing Ferry wave and smile, I was hoping that he would surprise with another encore, possibly coming back with another Ferry classic such as Right Of Way or Out Of The Blue! Unfortunately, the fun was really over @ 3:30 AM. Unlike previous Ferry gigs @ GLOW, Ferry did not get to spin 4 hours and he did not come down and greet the fans. The club management was in a rush to shut down the club.

In spite of the less than perfect end, this night was full of wonderful memories! Enjoying the company of friends at GLOW, featuring another phenomenal set from Ferry Corsten (one of my alltime favorite trance DJs and producers)...that was the awesomeness! Once again...I was glad that I could enjoy such an incredible night!

Shoutouts to pludgesm, sammy6979, Kathy V, bigjimslade, derangedmind, PvDenraptured, Breakfast, and BigMike! Sorry to anyone else I forgot! Cheers!
