Kinda true with the moving out...but the mom trying to ground an 18 year old shows how sheltered they are. it makes me mad about how spoiled some kids are. Makes me want a vasectomy . |

You got to prove that you can behave like an adult, and make half decent decisions before you should be given privileges of an adult.
Meeting 2 boys she has never met before, alone, without telling anyone, and then not answering phone calls from the people who care about her, is a huge sign that she is irresponsible and careless.
If you're going to act like a child, and throw little tantrums like a child, you're going to be treated like one too.
While you live under your parents roof, you should do as they ask. Usually they only ask you to do simple things like let them know where you are. It isn't because they are being s, it's because they care, and want to make sure you're alright. If you don't like it, move out.

No its not. I meet new people all the time. There are times I miss calls too. This train of thought is what makes a kids act out. If you're 18 and want to take a risk. Let it happen. We all do it, even if its a bad idea. Its how you become an adult.

True...she should just move out but shes spoiled and trapped because shes so dependent on the folks. Somewhat their(parents) fault too. I totally understand that no matter how crappy the rules may seem...if you want them to pay your bills you have to deal with it. 10 oclock cerfew on a 18 year old is asking for trouble cuz it aint happening.
