Fire & Ice - San Antonio!!!

I thought I'd save my first posting for when I had something important to say. Fire & Ice has done it again, San Antonio is a great great song. It certainly goes in my top 3 Fire & Ice songs with Souvenir De Chine and My All-Time Fav. Trance Tune, My Love Is Pure.
P.s.- Always looking for new "Emotional" Trance songs, recommendations? |

I've been a big Fire & Ice fan for many years now, but i've been very disappointed with Heart & Mind, which is the tiest song they've ever done,, I couldn't believe that was a Fire & Ice production
What I can't believe is that this song id doing great ! Many people buy it ! I can't get it...My Love is Pure, Neverending Melody, and most of all Lost Emotions were 100 times better than this one !
As for San Antonio, it's definetely better than Heart & Mind, but I can't recognize the typical Fire & Ice sound in it...
I mean, it has nothin to do with all their previous productions.
The good point is that it's indeed very full of energy, but the melody remains the same all along, which is unsual for a Fire & Ice track, they always manage to make it sound different and unexpected as you listen to it !
San Antonio is a good track, but not as good as all the others...
It sounds more like dutch trance now, which is disappointing
I think DJ Cresto will agree with me

| to me fire and ice are the greatest, but some of their songs i dont like as much as the others, i mean, when i first heard some of the other songs, like forever young, or neverending melody, i was like, "yes, fire and ice has done it again" these two new songs are great, but its hard to say they have done it again |

| There will never be another My Love Is Pure, to me its the best song ever. But after hearing Heart and Mind, Beyond My Control and other recent work they have done, I feel as though this song is definitly back to the Fire & Ice sound I fell in love with. The other thing about Fire & Ice songs is they all get better the more you listen to them, this is the case with San Antonio. I have only had it for two days now but have listened to it probably 50 times already and it keeps getting better. So while I agree with you about Heart and Mind and the poor quality of some of their other recent songs, I definitly like this better than Neverending Melody and Lost Emotions. Yes the melody is the same throughout but I'm willing to overlook that when the song has as much emotion as this one. |

Yes it is good, but not as good as Forever Young, Neverending Melody, or Souvenir De Chine. I see their style has changed quite a bit. I have to agree with you though, My Love Is Pure is one of the best songs out there!! :crazy: |

I agree with you that Fire & Ice songs keep getting better and better as you listen to them, that's very true
I'm just surprised you actually like San Antonio better than Lost Emotions or Neverendin Melody...to me, those are full of emotions, and I can't feel too much while listening to San Antonio, but that's okay ! We're just differently sensitive I guess :)
Btw, I'd like to know about your other tastes, like what other producers of uplifting trance you like etc..
