Okay, I know that the real trance addicts would shake their head saying this ain't proper trance, but this is just how I like my trance served these days... (hence the name) ;)
As a sidenote... This was recorded on saturday after spending all day out in the very first summer like sun along with more than a handfull of cold beers and a DJ playing some chilled tracks... ahh that was such a nice day and afternoon. Anyway I got home, a bit woozy from all that drinking but after a slice of pizza from the day before and a big glass of coke I took out my cd case and ended up with this here mix:

I'm impressed! Your mixing is tight, good and fast transitions. The only thing that buzzes for me is a couple of tracks that I think don't fit in. I like the tech-house/techno/electro-trance blend you do, but I find it a bit wierd hearing hmm..some sort of "commercial"electro-house aswell. Matter of taste perhaps? :rolleyes:

And yes of course music is always a matter of taste, it's like a never ending discussion hehe. But I often seem to find myself in between genres which often has people either liking it or not, but that's just have I prefer it. I find it kinda dull if you only mix one genre through out a mix... I need variety :).
I already have a few tracks in line for the May edition hehe ...so keep your eyes peeled! And also let me know of your next mix ;). |
