SOS live in Japan via DJmag TV!
Words: Ben Murphy

House music’s titanic trio of SOS – Omid 16B, Demi, and Desyn Masiello – fresh from their mould-breaking triple CD classic ‘Balance 13 Mixed by SOS’, are set to rock Tokyo with an exclusive set at the world beating Womb, on 4th May. But if you’re stuck in Blighty you can still be part of the action.

Rated the No.5 club on the planet in DJmag’s Top 100 Clubs poll (voted for by hundreds of international DJs), Womb’s futuristic confines are surely the perfect place to catch these eclectic funk magicians. But if you can’t stump up for a trip to Japan then DJmag.com has the answer.

On 4th May, we’re broadcasting the SOS DJ gig live and direct from Womb via www.selfcast.com/djmag. Their six-hour set will broadcast from 3pm UK time (11pm Japan). Simply click in, crank up the volume, and melt into the sound!

Womb, Tokyo = one club I have to see before I die. Forget Ibiza, I want to party with some crazy Japanese people.

Yes it will!

I'll try to free some space on my computer by then and see if I can get an HQ rip of the audio at least. What program do you recommend for this?

The program I use for recording came with my Soundcard. Perhaps Audacity would work for Recording though.

My Girlfriend just happens to be graduating from her University on May 4th, so I might not be able to get this setup to record.

If I can get it setup to record though, I'm going to record it in 320KBPS CBR MP3. Hopefully DJMag TV will have good source Audio/Video quality so a 320 recording won't be in vain...

I'll go do some research on Audacity and see what I can pull up for ya. :)

I'm more keen to Desyn solo sets myself. But, I also like the styles that Demi & Omid bring to the table for their SOS sets. I think you're being a little harsh on the other two.

Have you only seen them once? If so, I'd suggest giving them another chance. And this video will definately be a good way to do that.
