For a whole year, I stayed away from progressive trance just because it wasn't my style at the time, until I heard Sasha and Digweed's communicate CD:eyes:

They have so many albums that I missed out on and I want to catch up. Tell me some other good albums that you guys liked that is Sasha and Digweeds or any artist that is similar to them. I need to catch up on my progressive tunes so please tell me!!!

Digweed is releasing MMII very soon (a rip is already floating around though). That is a really good CD and has melodies.
Also, try their essential mix from the other week...

Sander Kleinenberg's NuBreed CD is really nice. Maybe a bit more housey that the communicate CD but still a lot of melodies....

That's very much my story too, I avoided prog as I considered it boring, but then I started to go to a local club here in Chicago RedNoFive which spins primarily prog, and about a year ago one night the rezzie spun
James Holden - One For You

and I went insane, it was so gorgeous. Now I am very much into james Holden. Do yourself a favour and get "fear of a silver planet"- it's mint!! I also like communicate, I reccomend downloading Global Underground Sasha in Ibiza, my 2 fave prog tracks at the mo' are on there:

MRE - The Deep Edge and

Resistance D - Feel High (Humate Mix)

Check out Sasha and Digweed Northern Exposure series

Sasha's Ibiza on the Global Underground label is a MUST have for any fan of progressive trance. If you dont have this...stop what you are doing..download it or go out and buy it. I bought it :wtf:

John Digweed's Bedrock is pretty good as well. Its one of those albums where you dont listen to it for specific tracks, but rather the whole CD is a journey. I especially like BPT's "Moody" Its so ing funky! :D

But of course if you are lucky enough to see them spin live together you are in for a moving experience to say the least!

I for one can't wait till they come back to my part of the US
