why would you put salt in mac & cheese? The cheese is already uber-salted.
Just rinse the pasta. If you have to have the cheese sauce, open another box and use the powder, then use the white pasta in another dish later on. |

Add a little water and microwave covered (but not sealed) until it thickens up again.

| when I was on a ty college student diet, I would salt the water and cook the pasta in it, but I never salted the Mac after it was all prepared. Either way its too much sodium. You shouldn't be eating that food anyway. |
