yeh but the in game driver kept going off, but still somehow kept up to the real life driver...something is suspicious. if you went off, you would be much slower, if you can go off in the game and still keep up to RL, very suspicious|

That just shows how good Schumacher really was. Ok so he was a prick and his behaviour on the track was often questionable at best, worthy of a good ass kicking most of the time, you cant deny the man has serious driving skills. 10% speed increase to keep up with him, that would be what about 10 to 15 seconds difference per lap in a real race. And he doesn't have the option to rpes restart when he crashes into the barrier at 300kph.
Also the GT series was never really that realistic. Sure more than other console games (though i hear Forza 2 has a much more realistic engine than GT5) but even ignoring the lack of damage, you can get away with far to much on one hand and on the other you cant do something as basic as a donought. Still a very fun game to play though. I woudnt mind playing GT5 but im not buying a PS3 just for that.
