What's your "happy place" - e.g. the place you go or want to go when you feel like crap? For me it's one of the few: A park by my old house - I remember riding my bike up and down in it when I was a kid; also Virginia west of D.C. - something about it just makes me feel relaxed. I also love some parts of Jersey Shore, the less crowded places. And there are some spots in Manhattan that make me feel cozy certain times of the year (mostly in Soho/East Village).
Usually when I feel stressed and can't physically take a trip, I just mentaly take myself there to my "happy place" and feel a little better.

Mine is new and improved, under new management. Your happy place will be even happier after posting in this thread. Especially if you send some screaming monkey poo to your 5 friends or your pet skunk will die from herpes in 3 days. Do it.

Well every time i go i get to see my family which only happens once every year. It is usually Christmas so the Christmas feeling is going on. Plus i get to sit around and do nothing, eat fantastic food and converse with family and friends.
Its just ace. Plus i love my country :D |
